EXERETON THYME HONEY 430G
12,00€
Honey is a medical and nutritional treasure known for centuries. The thick “gold” we get from the cells is rich in antibacterial and antifungal properties. It is considered to be of excellent quality honey. It belongs to the flower honeys, but in fact it is a separate category due to its intense aromatic and taste characteristics.
Its appearance is very attractive, which is why consumers usually prefer it. However, its great demand is due to the fact that, if mixed with other types of honey (even in small quantities), it has a decisive effect on their aroma. Its production amounts to about 10% of the total honey production of Greece. The best areas for the production of thyme honey are considered to be the Greek islands and especially Crete and Kythira.
The crystallization of honey is its natural evolution. Crystallization does not affect the quality of honey, on the contrary it proves its purity.
